Trying to figure out how to get the RSS feeds to work in Sharepoint 2007.
I’ve scanned through the resolved answsers and this problem goes back months and almost years. I’ve done the “http://api.my.yahoo.com/rss/ping?u=pathtofeeedfile” thing and got a successful result page, but still no updates. Good grief, if it’s not going to work take it down!
Thanks so much for that info, I’ll check some of the links for extra knowledge. Your 360 page feeds aren’t updating either. There are new entries for 9/1 and 9/2 from the feed site that aren’t updated on your page. The yahoo ansswers graphics isn’t showing correctly either. I’m glad to know it’s not just me being brain dead.
When I follow Yahoo’s instructions on how to ping their server to update my RSS feed–in other words, entering
http://api.my.yahoo.com/rss/ping?u=http://www.clicktribe.com/libertydollar/index.xml
all I get is a message “Refresh failed. Feed not found.”
A similar question was asked before, but the so-called “best answer” contained plenty of blather about yahoo but no solution to the problem. Does anyone know how to fix it?
